Hi there – My partner, Shirley & I are new Merida “residents,” yearning towards the hoped for completion of our Santa Ana house late this year, still somewhat in transition but essentially HERE ! So, though we’ve been coming here for 2 years + and are not total “newbies,” we’re doing what people do, navigating new lives here, buying plumbing fixtures, taking road trips, trying out restaurants, learning about palm trees – curious to explore as much as possible. Was very interested in your reference to marina’s Calakmul trip …couldn’t figure out how to contact her via her blog. Do you have an email address ?
